Our Environments

Stunning environments will beautiful natural resources. A place to learn, explore, grow and have fun!

We are proud to provide beautiful environments, both inside and out for the children and families to enjoy.

At Simply Sunshine Early Education, we ensure our rooms are filled with natural light, nurturing furnishings and age-appropriate resources.

Our nature-inspired outdoor environments are well-designed with plenty of shade. Our children love helping us plant new gardens, water the plants and getting involved in personalising their outdoor spaces.  Our playground provides many opportunities for children to connect with the land and its natural resources to support open ended play.  We have spaces for children to run climb and develop their gross motor skills in a fun and engaging way.

Our values

Connections

Our connections are an integral part of Simply Sunshine Early Education. We network with the local and broader communities and services to fundraise, celebrate, renovate, teach and learn from; all with the children’s best interest and our service at heart. We recognise and celebrate difference, promote inclusion and respect multicultural values, beliefs and expectations.

Safety

Our service is committed to ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of all the children in its care is paramount.  We understand that all children have the right to feel safe and share in education and care in an environment that supports their physical and psychological wellbeing.  We support the child’s growing competence, confidence, and independence. The service understands the importance of children being educated and care for in a safe learning environment and we ensure a responsible person is always present at the premises.  The service has policies and procedures in place to safeguard and promote children’s health and safety, minimise risk and protect children.

Environments

Educators intentionally teach children about caring for the environment (e.g. energy efficiency, water saving), and involve them in planned experiences that develop life skills such as growing and preparing food, waste reduction and recycling. The Service seeks to provide a physical environment that includes natural features such as plants, trees, edible gardens, sand, rocks, mud and water, and to allow children unhurried time in their environment to connect with country. Our outdoor play spaces have recently been renovated, inspired by the natural environment and resources to establish a welcoming and nurturing, open ended play space.

Exceptional Team

Our team of compassionate educators pride themselves on being friendly, inclusive, efficient, supportive, and present within their roles. Our team spirit is evident through our Morning Meeting, regular staff meetings and staff gatherings. The staff have a positive approach to learning and are continually upskilling, completing further studies and professional development to meet positive learning outcomes for children.
