Simply Sunshine provides care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years, including a Government approved Kindergarten program to give our kindy kids the very best start to prep.
Encouraging healthy food choices is a focus at our centre, and we work with our families to help ensure little lunchboxes are nutritious and delicious! We are also an approved sun smart centre and our sun safe policy is in line with Queensland Cancer Fund. Hats, drink bottles and appropriate sun safe clothing are a must in Moranbah's hot climate.
We have fantastic, well-designed play areas both inside and out with plenty of shade. Our children love helping us plant new gardens, water the plants and getting involved in personalising their outdoor spaces.
As a not-for-profit centre, Simply Sunshine is run by an Executive Committee of parents in partnership with staff and other members. The committee is responsible for licensing requirements, decision making and working with centre management to ensure the best day-to-day operations and outcomes for our children.
Our centre is open from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Reception and office hours are between 7.30am to 3pm.
We operate for 50 weeks of the year with an annual closure period of two weeks over the Christmas/New Year period.
The Centre does not open on public holidays and no children will be accepted by staff outside of opening times.
We have a few different payment options available depending on your needs, including full time, early bird (6am start) and casual days for children on our wait lists.
